Jazak Allah khayr for this post, i think its important to know whats going on in the Ummah, and it a shame that some people don’t know or maybe don’t believe that its the baraka that Allah puts in your wealth that is more important than the wealth itself.

Also, I take the view that there are far more good people than there are bad people, but the reason why there is a lot of evil in th world is because there are too many good people that do nothing about it.

May Allah unite us on what is good and give us strengh to supress evil. Spreading the mercy of Islam is so important

This is true from what I know of gas stations and such. You would go under, Allah hu alam. The gas alone is not enough. You barely make anything off it.

On the flipside, is interesting to note, that this was kind of an evolution that took place among Pharmacies. Ever think about why does a gas station not only sell gas?
Or why a pharmacy doesn’t only have medicine…

Sounds common sense, I know, but as for the Pharmacy…it’s CALLED a pharmacy….but it’s only in a lil corner of the store. Rest of it is convenient use.

I hardly can believe that 62% of liquor stores are owned by Muslims. Where does such a statistic come from? Do people go around surveying liquor store owners and ask them what religion they are?

73% of all statistics are made up on the spot…

I recall Shaykh Khalid Yasin said in one of his lectures that a whopping 62% of all liquor stores in America are owned by Muslims. Let’s not forget gas stations which also sell cigarettes and alcohol. I once got into a discussion with one brother who said that if he didn’t sell such items, his store would make no money because gas stations don’t make money from gas, they make it from what they sell.
