Regarding the ‘marks of prostration’ being exempt from the Fire does this refer to the mark that some people get on their foreheads? or does it refer to a different type of mark which all believers who prayed will get in the Hereafter?

Having the mark of prostration in this life can cause problems, eg riyah, people praising you ‘MashaAllah akhi you must be such a good muslim as you have a mark of prostration’ etc. would it be wrong to try to remove a mark of prostration? for anyone that has, how do you get rid of it? (without not praying ofcourse!)

Secondly, i think i may have spotted a typo:

”In modern day society, the pressures facing the ummah (Muslim community) are great; however, the remedy can be just as simple—by keeping steadfast in the daily prayers and having tawakkul (reliance on God), we make ourselves vulnerable to Allah’s help and mercy”.

perhaps its not a typo but i dont understand how the word ‘vulnerable’ fits into that sentence.

Prayer..not in the sense as most know it and practice to be where one just clasps their hands together and asks God for things..but prayer in the sense of being a DUTY, an obligation; prostrating to the ground, humbling one’s self to who we came from..God.

People have watered down the ACT of prayer to making it out to be on the same plane as making du’a (supplication) alone. Religating prayer to making supplication..is NOT one and the same.
