Assalamualaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatu sister!

“Allahu akbar” basically means that Allah is the Greatest…He is greater than anything and everything we can possibly think of. Just think of how perfectly placed this phrase is in our daily salat. We stand for prayer, raise our hands and declare Allah to be greater than whatever worldly pursuit it is we may have been engaged in beforehand. Use it as a reminder throughout your day to keep your priorities in check and your hope strong, for whatever problem we may be faced with, Allah is greater than that problem.
“Subhaan Allah” basically means Glory be to Allah. The way you can connect with this phrase is to reflect on the fact that Allah is absolutely perfect and free from any deficiencies. It is an expression that declares our Lord to be above any flaws. As such, you may use it in an instance when you are admiring the beauty of something in His creation in order to remind yourself of the One solely responsible for such awe inspiring beauty.

May Allah grant us understanding of our faith and bring us closer to Him through that understanding.

Can someone explain to me, how can I use word “Allahuakbar” and ” subhanallah”?

How both of them differ and in what situation can I express each word?
