I do not understand why people bring their children to events that are geared towards adults.
We have the same problem here in Edmonton. A friend of mine stopped going to the halaqa held at a local mosque because of the children running around which made it difficult for her to listen. I was planning on going to them as I heard the lady leading them was doing a good job but when I was told about the children running around I didn’t bother.
We are losing people as a result of parents not tending to their children and this is unfortunate.

Suhaib webb preaches with his heart. That’s the reason I like his website and stuff. I have tried listening to so many shaykhs. Only 3 or 4 of them touch me like a human should, who speak out of sincerity. Otherwise most of the religious people I meet just make me feel like a big worthless loser in this world.
