This article has been truly a one of kind, spiritually motivating and uplifting. May Allah bless you in abundance. Include me in your du’as. I am going through a messy divorce with courts, restraining orders etc on me. It’s been a very emotionally challenging time. I’ve got 3 young children. In reply to Nuraini. Yasmin Mogahed's book has been such a blessing through my divorce, it reminds me to always put Allah in my heart and everyone else in my hands. You can find excerpts online. It's just as inspiring as this article.

I too went through the same experience, she left literally over a phone call and that was pretty much that. A year later I still find it difficult to cope and still struggle to find answers at times but I know that only Allah (set) knows best and that this too shall end.
