This reminded me of my best friend, who passed away last year because of her cancer. She was inspiration for all the people around her, being very grateful for everything Allah had blessed her, humble, kind, patient, and caring. She didn’t lament on her condition, and always did not loose hope to Allah, accepting everything wholeheartedly. I indeed learnt a lot from her, and still miss her very much. We had been Quran buddies for sometime, whenever I come across reciting the memorized verses that I used to recite to her, I remember her, and realize that I too will return to Allah like her, and yet the words of Allah will remain forever, as a blessing for this world.
I pray that Allah give full recovery for your wife, and give both of you strength and patient, and the best of everything, in this life and in the hereafter, aamiin..

This was very beautiful. Thank you, anonymous, for such a reminder. It is a blessing that Allah has given you and her the ability to see the illness through this lens. I very close relative of mine has been diagnosed with late stage cancer as well…and this is one thing that we are all learning—while at first glance cancer is tied to death–in reality people do not die from cancer…they die because their given time on this earth is up. I may die tomorrow, while being as “healthy as a horse” while my relative who has cancer may surpass me by days, months and even years.

May God cure her with a cure that leaves no sickness at all.

I wish with all ma heart she gets cured permanently. I also would like to tell u that there is a very very effective cure with Allah’s Blessing, that is, the seed of the Apricot. Please give your wife a about 30 to 35 of these seeds everyday. Please try it. There was this lady doctor who had terminal Cancer and she was looking for a cure and somehow it led her to taking Apricot seeds daily… the very same doctor who gave her 2 months was shocked when he tested her to find no traces of cancer and her email was forwarded.I still have her email and would like to forward it to you if you so wish. I eat it whenever i find it.In the end Allah guides us to whatever is good for us Alhamdolelah.May Allah grant her Quick Shifa…
