Assalamualaikum..
This articles give me more knowledge about the life after prison..because an uncle of mine was being caught due to drug trafficking.But unfortunately,he became like a man without religion!He don’t pray,act rudely towards his mother(my second grandmother),as a man he don’t even go to the Jummah prayer..
He is now in his late 40 but still didn’t show any sign of change.
All that I can do is just pray for him..

I, too, love sports and we can surely take many positives out of it.

I just heard a talk by Imam Siraj Wahhaj. He asked, who was the most prolific scorer in NBA history? Who has the most blocked shots in the NBA? The answer to first question is Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and for the second one, Hakeem Olajuwon. Both are Muslims.

I’d like to share this video. It is a commercial, but nonetheless it is very powerful.

I would really like to read more about the challenges faced by brothers and sisters who have been in trouble with the law, what Muslim run programs there are for them, and some tips on what people can do to help.

Check out IMAN’s “Green Reentry Project” which helps former incarcerated individuals to get back into becoming positive contributors in society.

The program “seeks to convert foreclosed and vandalized properties in the Chicago Lawn neighborhood into vibrant, environmentally sound (green) transition housing for formerly incarcerated individuals reentering society. IMAN will use the renovations of these homes to provide on-the-job training for these individuals.”
