Slm wr wb Sister Yasmin,
I wish to say thank you and say jazakallah for your beautiful work, words and reminders. You cannot fathom how much it has touched me and been of benefit. Perhaps you do know, as only one who has felt the things you have can write about them as you do. And others may find solice and a reminder too.
And he who doesnt thank the people hasn’t thanked Allah. But I find myself thinking your words merely point me to the One who guided, inspired, taught you and gave you this insight. For you are the means and the reminder is beauitiful, as the One you remind ud of is Beauty itself. So as I look across this temporal station at a person who I’ve never met nor seen yet seems to know. Know how I feel and that as you remind me that we were before Him and made our vow – and know this muffled memory dulls and withers away by the erosion of this dunya upon my heart – your words remind me. Of myself. Of Him. In the most profound and superbly artistic of ways. If your words were colored and alive, they would be sunsets as sunrises. But as you said… They only serve to remind one of the artist. The Inspirer. Who inspired you.
Alhamdulillah hirabbil alameen. May you be reunited with your Beloved. Ameen.
