I’d like more details on ‘a youth who grew up worshiping God’.

This might sound silly, but is there a guide for worshiping Allah in this site? How do I balance my pleasures and education with worship? Is learning (science and math – dunya, basically) considered worship?

Also, for number 4 – familial love between siblings is exempt, right? Also, how exactly does one love another for their iman? Is loving another for their personality included?

Amazing article. What I am struck by again and again is the Hadith regarding the sun coming close to the creations and would like to find more references like these in sahih hadiths.
It is particularly interesting because our sun is destined to become a red giant in about 5-7 billion years, and at the peak of it’s expanded phase, it will stop just short of engulfing the earth. A rising red sun at that time would cover the entire horizon and much more. The oceans would have boiled away and most features on the face of the earth would have melted and flattened out. What is further fascinating is that in about similar time scale (5-7b yrs) Milky way and Andromeda will have collided leading to stars getting first scattered and then falling toward the centre of the newly merged milkomeda galaxy. This phenomenon has some striking similarity to the end of times description given in the opening verses if Surah Takwir, surah infitaar and surah inshiqaq!
Indeed once the sun becomes a red giant and sheds it’s outer corona, all that will be left of it is an earth-sized faint white dwarf star, lurking inconspicuously somewhere in the new galaxy, which brings to mind the opening verse of Surah Takwir: “When the sun with it’s spacious light is folded up. When the stars fall loosing their lustre..when the mountains vanish like a mirage..”

I live in Bangladesh too. Although I’ve read this article much later after it was published I want to give my profuse thanks to the author of this article. Jazakallahu Khaira. Its summer time again as I write this.

This was an especially heart lifting piece to me because lately I feel like there’s a lack of practicing, sincere young Muslims in bd. And the few practicing youths are usually ridiculed by their peers, even though we’re all “Muslim”. After reading this article, Alhamdulillah, I have a little more hope that bd may see a day where we’re not just Muslims cuz we live here, but truly feel for our religion and love our deen and Allah and His Messenger.
