alhamdulillah, great series. to answer Br. Kaminari-I feel the same way. some things I keep repeating even when I have asked for forgiveness from Allah..even when I know with certainty that there is an hadith that says not to do it and the punishment if done…so like you asked how to refrain from doing sins? We must come to really KNOW ALLAH..all of His Attributes..He watches us all the time..He knows we are also trying for He is closer to us than ‘our jugular vein’..we should not give up trying to be a better muslim..that is when we have lost.
