I have struggled with this in some manner in recent times, but I see it doesn’t get me anywhere – though it is someone I care about.

To be honest though, it just makes me feel sad, not even because of the faith issue, but more practical one, but anyways, this piece reflect the beauty that we have within ourselves because of the beauty that is Islam, to which ever degree in may manifest at a given stage in life.

Thank you for your response. I probably wasn’t that clear in what I was trying to say. That is, even though they say β€œLa Illaha illa Allah,” they still don’t have faith and they aren’t Muslims.
