What a moving story! May Allah (swt) Give this dear brother a high place in Jannah, Grant his mother Strength, Mercy and Patience during these years since his departure. Ma’sha’allah, 22 years and such an effect on those whom he met. Indeed, what a gift he was and as was mentioned, he surely did test this family and from the account, how strong his brother was and his mother as well, given the circumstances.

I also found comfort, when my father’s face also had a hint of a smile after he passed away, and those who washed his body were commenting on this during those hours after his passing. At least my father had had a fuller life (time-wise) than the brother mentioned here, but I pray that this brother, my father and all those that have gone before us, especially those that we feel have gone too soon, will have the best of places in the Hereafter and an eternal life that will be a reflection of the lives and with Allah’s (swt), beyond that even, they led during their terms on this Earth. Ameen.
