Alhamdulillah, things have always been well with my father. He is in fact one of my teachers when it comes to the Qur’an or everything else in life for that matter 🙂

With regards to the “light slap” I received, that is part of an ancient, noble tradition in the subcontinent, where fathers have disciplined their children since time began, with sterness, but also with love, humour and sarcasm so searing, it’s almost poetic lol.
