As-salam-Walekum ,
All praises to Allah the most benificiant the most merciful.
Thanks for this article on prayer.
I always have felt that there must be spiritual significance to Salah.
I started praying requlary without a miss since few weeks( i wish Allah never takes away His blessing of Salah ever from till my last breath). I don’t know how but i am able to realte everything that you said in you these articles because i could feel it in my prayer,i also have no idea how i learned all these things as i am not a learned Muslim and i have been doing wrongly most of my life but I realise my sincere dua made me feel all these emotions in my prayers and Allah guided me every step.
But i was cry and weeping and sobbing everytime i pray and sometimes like a baby and with not only running eyes with warm tears but with running nose all the time i pray. I am was wondering if i maybe over doing things. But heart tells me i feel so calm and at peace, and even i could see His so many blessings everyday and counting which i was may be ignorant to see before.
Thanks for article as i am satisfied that i am on right path and i am so happy nobody He guided me with this blessings.
One more things before i end my comment.
First step for me was asking my Rab to show me the straight path and feeling each line in prayer as i say them.
Then i started repentance with hope of his Mercy and forgiveness. Soon i found myself remembering so so many blessings He provided me but I kept doing wrong to me(as i cant do wrong to my rab). Next step was i started feeling his mercy and started to converse with Him in my prayers, sometimes in sujjud, sometimes in ruku then slowly whole prayer was like i was talking to my Rab and then i felt his Love(may be as i am still not able to fully comprehend this feeling) its overwhelming. i wish to talk to someone about how beautiful i feel but i am afraid i don’t have anyone i could relate to talk this.
But thanks again for this beautiful article and wish i will be able to pray and feel Love for my Rab as the Ansar felt even after getting stuck by arrows he was praying and i want to feel the way he must be feeling that gave him enough power to endure such pain. Insha-Allah one day i will be close enough to Allah to feel the same.
