Article was a great reminder in two ways for me and I’m sure there are many more lessons that may be derived. One, it was a lesson in how being present with mind an body at all times is a virtue. Also, it shows that the none Muslims have qualities which are truly wonderful to behold which sometimes remind us of the edeb we should portray. One thing however that I would like the author to please clarify is why he had to say or utter in Shaa Allah under his breath rather then out loud? This struck me as odd and I would like to understand. Thank you.

Similar incidents have happened to me a few times, and I thank Allah for not letting the worst happen.

It’s so easy to get distracted or wrapped up in our own things. May Allah help us all to enhance our sense of focus, so that we can not only improve upon the things we already do – but also avoid disasters like the one described in this experience, which stem from lack of focus.
