I had the pleasure of meeting Professor Norman Finkelstein in person, and he truly is a great intellectual and a great human being. I hope he is successful in his endeavors to stand up for the truth and against oppression.

I am grateful to the folks behind this interview with the true political pundit, Dr. Norman Finkelstein. His moralistic and principled view towards US and Israeli Policy in the Middle East is so encouraging, especially in the face of the Neo-Colonial and inhuman actions and propoganda spread by the US and Israeli Axis of Evil. I am sincerely hoping that Dr. Finkelstein regains his academic credentials and finds peace and happiness. He has paid the price for being honest to his ideals. Dr. Finkelstein is my hero.

What are these communist ideals? How do they differ from the Caliphate? What the left promotes is humanistic values which is not different from many religions.

The most important value is to do unto others as you would have others do unto you. This is the opposite of capitalism which is based on greed and might makes right.

Dr. Finkelstein is a great man who showed that it is possible to confront Jewish mafia, to expose publicly the facts and lies and to break with “party line”. His by far greatest contribution is exposing the lies behind the scheme of anti-Semitism defense.

But, I often wonder if Finkelstein still has as he says “juvenile” leftist views. In particular, why he is against those “who want to turn the clock back several centuries and resurrect the Caliphate”? As far as I understand, the goal itself would be quite legitimate and completely internal matter withing Moslem world.

Califate was the high point of Moslem culture. The intellectual and material culture produced then was infinetely superior to one produced today, both there and in the West. What’s wrong with Califate? That is was not “progressive”? I think it’s time to reconsider the cultural values. I think it’s time to spell out what the “clash of civilizations” really is: Western barbarians/communists against decent traditions of Moslems. Moslems, you see, never ever had “social problems” and social revolutions. They had wars, but not for the stupid communist ideals.

We vitally need those who chronicle and analyse historical and political events and periods of relevance by truthful and objective presentation. The victimisation of Professor Norman Finkelstein is evidence of the decline of the academic culture in the United States as the spirit of inquiry which is the basis of knowledge cannot survive persecution of those given to honest analysis however uncomfortable the truth.
