I’ve been keeping up with your tour reflections and masha’Allah I love them all. May Allah reward you all. I particularly felt connected to this piece. I was at IFS in Chicago when you all came and you really are an inspiration to Muslims all over. Unfortunately I wasn’t there for the talk because I didn’t know you all were coming before hand. 🙁 I have to agree- Imam Faisal’s recitation is beautiful. I might have to grab a CD myself!

Also I live in the DMV area and I’m just as inspired by Native Deen as well as all the youth educated in Islam. I’m glad you thought our youth were competition for Santa Clara 🙂

Some of us shy away from meeting our fellow Muslim Americans and , NFL stars, or not, it’s great to see when young men shine as great examples for both Muslim and non Muslim youth, in this way. The strength of our Islamic faith in the U.S. comes from our diversity and willingness to see each other as part of the same team. Ramadan Kareem and safe travels !
