Imam WD was the means Allah [swt] used to convert MILLIONS to Islam.

Ya Allah, forgive his sins and enter him into the highest ranks of Paradise.

  • there is a speech: “ Dear Muslim brothers and sisters, it is not difficult for Minister Farrakhan and Wallace D. Mohammed to embrace each other. That’s easy for us. When I first met him in the early ’50s, I liked him on first sight, and I became his friend and his brother. And I have not stopped being his friend and his brother. Maybe he has not understood, but I have always been his friend and his brother. For me, this is too big a cause for our personal problems and differences. Allah-u Akbar (God is great). • Asalamualaikum wrt wb,

Can you imagine the personal strength it must have required him to break away from his father who claimed to be a prophet and had millions of followers?

May Allah shower him with mercy and forgive his sins. Ameen.

  • Min. Farrakhan gave a very moving brief speech at the Memorial Celebration for Imam Warith Deen today. I hope that it was being taped. He talked about knowing the Imam for 53 years, and about how the Imam was the person who first taught him about salat. He talked about all the different members of the family and how almost all African American Muslims and many many others today have somehow been touched by and are a legacy of that family.

Min. Farrakhan then mentioned that when he was a young man, W.D. Muhammed found comfort in the Qur’an and he found comfort in the example and life story of the Prophet Muhammad (saw) and that these were the gifts that he gave to his people.
